Pesticide residues fresh produce

As a fresh produce company, you have to comply with all kinds of EU legislation on pesticides. It is important to know which pesticides you may or may not use and in what concentration they may still be present in the end product. You need to carry out the right residue analyses for this. We will be happy to help.

Pesticide residues fresh produce in short

  • Product collection on location in the Netherlands and Belgium
  • Residue analysis of more than 750 pesticides
  • Clear reporting, advice and training

All imported products must comply with EU legislation. Therefore, as a quality manager of a fresh produce trading company, you must include pesticide residues in the hazard inventory and risk analysis. But you must also draw up control measures and arrange, record and have the implementation of those measures monitored. This also includes taking samples and having residue analyses carried out.

Ultimately, based on EU legislation and specific standards from retail, you can then decide whether you can legally sell the product and to which countries.
